We wanted a name that started with the letter J. After having multiple miscarriages we also wanted something symbolic and Jordan is a river which reminded us how we have into the process of TTC after loss and flowed with it until we had our baby

We thought of Jordan’s name as it was the same as someone we both hold much respect and admiration for. At the time we weren’t sure what the gender was and we liked the idea of being able to use Jordan regardless.

My husband actually chose Jordan. Biblically speaking, the name Jordan represents the blessings of God flowing down. Jordan is our 2nd boy, so the blessings from our family are flowing down to him.
