  1. We chose to give our son the first name of “Marcus” after my husband. We decided not to use my husband’s middle names because he has two. We instead went with the middle name “Theodore” which means “gift of God”, and he truly is our sweet gift!

  2. My dad named me after Marcus Aurelius white my mom wanted to name me shane.Ultimately they went with Marcus Shane for my first and middle name. The name Marcus to me is a very powerful name and one that has some really cool history, with a lot to live up to. I have always known the meaning of Marcus to be warrior of Mars; the mythological god of war.

  5. Marcus is named after his father but his middle name is the name he was supposed to have. I am okay with his name now but we dont ever call him Marcus unless hes in school because his teachers and friends call him Marcus. We the family call him Ayden (his middle name).
    He was suppose to be Ayden Marcus but his dad didn’t want it that way so we flipped it that way we both got what we wanted.
    I should have went with the way i wanted it because no one calls him Marcus its pointless.
    Marcus is also like his brother lovable and caring but with a feisty attitude.
