My husband came up with the name Savannah. There wasn’t really a “story” behind it other than it was one of the very few names none of our friends/family members had named their child. We started calling her Savannah while in the womb, and it just kinda stuck. Now that she is born, we couldn’t imagine naming her anything else! Plus, everyone we share it with absolutely loves it.

Really wanted an S name with 3 syllables so it could stand alone with out a middle name. The ever so popular Sofia was a contender, but once we came across Savannah, we fell in love and it felt…just right. It’s not too common, so pretty, and easily recognized We also wanted something easy to pronounce in Spanish and English since we are Latino

I wanted more creative names while my husband liked traditional names, Savannah was the one we both fell in love with at the same time. It was like when you know you found the person you are going to marry, it just felt right.

I love the many nicknames and how beautiful the name sounds. It’s a refreshing sound- Savannah.
