Her name comes from my great great grandmother. 3 days before my grandfather on maternal side passed away, he was lucid and spoke about his grandmother Rosalia. Him and I had a 2 hour conversation about her. How I reminded him of her: she was a Gardner, had a green thumb for everything, she shared with the community her excess produce and she wasn’t able to get pregnant until she was 46 years old and went on to have 5 kids. Mind you, my grandfather had no idea of my fertility issues. All he said was to be patient. 4 years later, I was pregnant at 46. So we we wanted to name our baby Rosalia. Angelica my husband chose. He originally wanted Angel. But I tweeked the name to roll off the tip of your tongue in Spanish Rosalia Angelica!. My husband chose Angelica because he felt we had a guardian angel watching over us to help us create our little miracle. We had 3 failed IVF. We’ve been trying for 10 yrs to get pregnant then told, we could “NEVER” get pregnant because of my poor egg quality. Well, miracles do happen. And we got our little dream come true. Rosie is just perfect. <3 Reply Alexandria Mangold Oct 31 at 9:53 am Nicknames Rosie Reply Alexandria Mangold Jan 8 at 5:31 pm My oldest child’s name and we call her Rosie for short.
