Of course we ended up having a girl and it took us almost three days to decide on the name. We wanted something short as my husbands last name is quite long and very Polish. We had Lou on the list but we can’t remember how it got on there! I think one of us saw it on a contemporary baby names list posted on a baby names website. We had it narrowed down to Lou and Mae but ended up going with Lou because we thought it suited her and we are glad we did because she is such a little Lou!
