  1. I had been talking about baby names with my sister. I had a small notebook of names I wrote down from A-Z. She suggested the name Lily at first, then though of Liliana. She was so set of me naming her that, and I told her I would think it over. I kept saying in my head, and talked about it with my fiance. He likes the name, and eventually we agreed on it. We’d have nickname for her already, our “Little Lily”.
She was born early on 1/22, at 34+1 weeks. She was in the NICU, working on growing and eating. She is so beautiful. She loves to smile and show us she’s our happy baby.
She is now getting discharged on 2/5. It’s a few days before my birthday. We prayed and prayed and are so glad to finally bring her home. I am excited to learn more about our baby girl, and see who she grows up to be (:

  2. I’m not really sure where the name came from, my husband came up with it but I fell in love with it. We wanted to make sure she would have options for a nickname which my original choice (Helena Rose) did not. Liliana gives us and her the option of Lily or Ana as a nickname.

  3. We chose this name because it’s completely unique to both sides of the family. Plus the meaning of purity, rebirth, and transformation just really spoke to me. And isn’t lily just the cutest nickname!

  4. My baby’s name is an ode to both her grandmothers. My mom’s name is Susan, which means Lily. My husband’s mother’s middle name is Marie. Thus, Liliana Marie was born. It flows so beautifully.

  5. Purity, rebirth, transformation

  6. I love the name Liliana–purity, rebirth and transformation. Those are the exact words to describe this pregnancy and time spent with her thus far.

  7. I name my daughter heavenly Lilliana ? her second name is Lilliana because I used to have a cuzin named Lilliana but she past in 2017 and I was really attached to her when I was a baby I was her favorite cuzin?
