  2. Alisa is my name. My mom named me because she loved it and it was an old Dutch family name. I’ve never really liked my name because everyone always miss pronounce it. I always get Alyssa, Alisha, Alize and somehow Allison. I tried going by Ali but it did last long because I was still fighting with everyone about how I say my name.

  3. It is my mothers name She was born in Soviet Russia when Alice in wonderland was a very popular book. Her father gave her the name Alisa. I always liked the name growing up and loved the phonetic spelling. I personally don’t like it when names are not spelled phonetically and when pronounced are different than the name given. I think its classical and sweet.
