  1. We liked the name Mack for a couple of reasons- first, my grandfathers name was Maurice aka “Mac” for short. Second, my husband is named after his father, so we initially were going to name our son the same and carry on the name. However, as my pregnancy continued we both felt like the name just didn’t suit him/his already developing personality. It was then that we read that the name Mack means “son of”. We felt that that was a perfect way to combine the sentiment of naming him after my grandfather while also carrying on my husband and father-in-laws name in a unique way:)

  2. My husband picked it and it’s a family name on my side which is why we chose to spell it w a ck instead of just c

  3. It’s my maiden name so it’s special
