We wanted an old fashioned name and as we were looking my husband mentioned Harrison. I had been secretly holding onto that name, but didn’t want to say it because I didn’t want him to say no. When he mentioned it, I knew that was going to be his name.

We chose Harrison Grant because it a strong sounding name that also means strong/power!
We pray that he will be a strong warrior for the Lord!
His middle name is in continuing on a tradition of the first born son getting his dads name for a middle name!
We also have two daughters with names starting with H … so we carrier that on!

We plan call him Sonny for short in our honor ofa family name!

We used my husband’s name Harry — he is Jr. and baby is III. Instead of having 2 Harrys in the house, we wanted a nickname for baby. We loved the name Harrison & knew it was meant to be when we discovered it means “son of Harry.”

We love his name! Hare-bear is our fav nickname, otherwise strictly Harrison ( trying to stay away from Harry). We also gave him a hyphenate middle name, Rhys-Gabriel. So when he’s older he can use one of those if he prefers.

My husband chose the name Harrison. We agreed because I got to choose our last sons name ( Hudson ) he would choose this baby’s name.

My husband chose, Harrison because he loves Han Solo and all things star wars haha

Also we agreed to stay with the H names. My only reservation about the name is keeping people from calling our son Harry =\ other then that I love the name

It is a family name, on my husband’s side, his grandmother’s maiden name. He actually is Landon Harrison the second, but goes by Harrison!
He is determined, spunky, silly, and so sweet He started crawling around six months and pulling up and cruising last month (month 8!). He is the oldest/first.

My husband’s grandfather was named Harry. My husband loved the name, but I was unsure about the name. Then I heard Harrison & loved it! It was a great compromise. We call my son both names & I love that the neither name is not very common.
