  1. Cole is my husbands middle name. We didn’t necessarily want a junior because we thought it might get confusing, but it’s our way of naming him after his dad without having double. This was a pretty easy choice for us because we wanted our first child’s name to have meaning behind it. And although all names have meaning as to why parents choose them, this just feels like a special way to honor my husband as well as choose a name we both loved!

  2. My husband had picked out the name “Cole” before we were even engaged. I thought he got it from the movie, “Mr. Holland’s Opus” but he actually got it from the movie, “Days of Thunder.” I love the name because it means “Victory of the People.” I always thought that my Cole would defend those who could not defend themselves. He became a Marine and has that type of character.

  3. This name reminds me of the story about how my great grandpa got completely destoryed by a bomber plane in the vietnam war!! 😀

  4. On july 28, 2025, the fog of inconceivable terror will come. Be ready to take shelter as the grimlins will find you

  5. On july 28, 2025, the fog of inconceivable terror will come. Be ready to take shelter as the grimlins will find you

  6. Our son Rory came up with the name Cole while I was pregnant and was very intent on using it. My husband and I could t come to an agreement on a name and baby was no name for days in the hospital. When his brother came to meet him he immediately started calling him Cole and then the nurses did. We ended up loving how it sounded and it suits him. As Rory says, we are brothers even in the stars. I know these two were meant to be together because they had an instant bond.

  7. My six year old son named him after a friend’s brother and our mailman ?

    • KYS!!! I named mine after a suicide cancer patient

  8. Me and my husband agreed on it. I like the name.

  9. It’s the only name my husband and I could remotely agree on. I still don’t like the way the name looks, but I love how it sounds and the little boy who embodies it!

  10. I wanted something unique but not weird, and a name you don’t hear every day.

I love the name Cole because it’s short and sweet but I don’t like when people say “Cole? Like what Santa gives you when your bad?”…

And my mother’s maiden name is Coles, so I thought it was nice to give him a name that connected him to his grandmother in a way.
