  1. Ari is a strong Hebrew name that means “Lion“. Then in Turkish, his name means “Bee“. My name also means “Honey Bee” so I thought it was perfect. He is a fighter. He worked so hard to get here and then spent 7 days in the NICU. He is healthy now and he is perfect. We could not be more in love with our baby boy!

  2. Ari Alexander. Alexander is a great middle name, strong and sounds gentlemanly, it’s his father’s middle name. At the time we named him I was into new age and the occult, very into symbolism. I wanted to name him after a crystal or two actually. Glad I didn’t. Ari means lion. He’s our little lion. Thought that was cute and also respectable. Only name us parents agreed on so we went with it. We found out later Ari also means eagle, that’s cool too I suppose but I much prefer Lio. Our little lion

  5. His daddy picked the name a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant. We don’t like having common names, yet it seems like more people have this name than I realize. It’s a wonderful name and I wouldn’t have selected a more perfect name for him. His name just flows together perfectly.

  6. I told my husband that if we were having a boy he will get to name him. He gave me several names to choose from and when he gave Ari I just liked how it sounded with Ray as a middle name. It was perfect!
