I chose the name Sofia for my baby girl because I loved that it meant wisdom and I liked that the spelling was different than the more common “Sophia” spelling. I had always said that if I had a girl I would name her Sofia and I was so happy when my husband loved it just as much as me, so it made it an easy decision!

My husband and I have been talking about having a little girl for years. For some reason the name Sofia came to our mind. We have been living life speaking her name into existence for years. Now she’s here 🙂 She is half Polish and half Ecuadorian. We chose to spell her name with a ‘f’ instead of a ‘ph’ to embrace her Hispanic culture. Sofia means wisdom and this little girl is already teaching us so much 🙂

I chose Sofia because it means wisdom. I love that it’s a name that reflects the scriptures as wisdom is foundational part of the Bible. Found throughout all of proverbs is the personification of wisdom as Lady Wisdom.

We chose the name Sofia Divina because it means divine wisdom. We wanted our daughter to be led by the wisdom that can only come from God because we know that only God can lead, guard and guide her in life.

My husband and I chose Sofia’s name because it means wisdom in Greek. Her middle name Raye is her aunties middle name and also Sofia is our little Raye of sunshine ? Sofia’s sister Madison, her daddy always wanted the name Madison for a name. Her middle name Ann, is my middle name also my grandmother’s and my cousin’s middle names. Sofia’s brothers Dean Edward and Samuel Jacob, I got the names Dean and Samuel from the TV show Supernatural and their middle names Edward and Jacob I got from the movie saga Twilight. That’s all of our four babies????
