If anyone reading this is familiar with the penal system, you already know that it is fight or die in there. According to Wikipedia our first name Scott means loyalty and strength. The 1978 I join the Marine corps and became a machine gunner. At that time I was in extreme lean 6 ft 2 , 225 lb. In the late sixties I started going by my middle name Randall. Only because I got tired of kids saying (beam me up Scotty) I grew up in the streets running with gangs doing all the bad stuff. Never back down from anything or anyone. I was always referred to as fearless. When I looked up the name Scott today and then I turned around and looked up Randall and they’re almost similar. Scott meaning loyalty and strength, Randall meaning shield and protection. I never knew the meaning of either one of those names and I know that the gentleman commented that we are products of our environment not a name. There’s a whole lot of Truth to that. But I also believe in God who created us and he knew our names before the foundation of the Earth. He designed us for who we are today.
