  2. Ruger is pronounced Roo-ger so we call him Roo for short. The most annoying thing is when some sees the same and pronounces Rug-er. He is not a rug. My husband chose the name Ruger because it is a type of gun and that is kinda what we were going for. But also because we want a girl to name her Winnie and in Winnie the Pooh tgeees Winnie and Roo is the kangaroo name so we got those going for us. I think it’s cute. I think the name Ruger is a strong manly name.
