  1. One reason we chose that name is that Titus come from the Holy Bible as a title of a New Testament epistle. He was a preacher to the island of Crete. His name means “Title of Honor.” We also chose it because it is traditionally a male name, no female has the name as far as we know, and therefore when someone sees his name on a piece of paper they will know his sex. I like how it is five letters just like mine and my husband’s first name. I love the meaning of the name. Finally, not many people are named Titus that we are aware of.

  6. My husband and I both wanted a Biblical name for our son. So I prayed about it and soon I couldn’t stop thinking about the name Titus. I didn’t know it was on my husband’s mind at the same time; growing up my husband had a cousin with the same name who he was very close with and his cousin had passed away years ago, so he wanted to name our baby boy after him. I felt it was the Lord working to give us an answer, because we couldn’t seem to agree on a name we both liked but when we came together and I told him my idea, I found out he had been thinking about the same name. That’s how we knew it was the one, being both Biblical and meaningfully significant to us.

    ??2 Corinthians? ?7:6?
?? And as we were in the middle of a pandemic, my husband and I both connected with this thought of God using our baby tocomfort us and encourage us during this heavy, difficult time that our world is going through right now. And so the name was chosen.

  17. We Had 3 miscarriages in 9 months. When we got pregnant with Titus, we started naming him Faith so the older boys could pray for the baby with a name.
