  1. I love my name and I’m Ukrainian. SASHA’S ORIGIN COUNTRY IS NOT RUSSIA!!!!! It’s from eastern europe and southern!

  2. It means defender of mankind, and it aligned with our two syllable criteria. We like it aesthetically and nostalgically too because it’s the nickname my husband had for his childhood best friend.

  3. BAD NAME
i dont like it because at school, some kids called me poopsha, when my name is sasha. i do not like kids, i hate school bullies. they bullied me in other ways too. sometimes they’d call me stupid or lame. their fav was “lamesha” all because they thought i was lame. And yeaaa that’s why you shouldn’t name ur kids anything. If they have no name no bullies can bully it.

  4. My husband and I wanted to combine our names somehow. My name is Shaylee and his name is Cash. He came up with Sasha and I loved it! I also looked up the meaning of Sasha on the internet and it says “defender of mankind.” I love that!

Growing up in like grade school, kids can be cruel and I was picked on because of my name..I probably was called “sausage” the most, but there were several different ones. And now, today, I just love my name! I think it holds a certain mystic to it and it’s definitely a sexy name (for adults lol) everyone i meet love my name…And thru others telling me, that’s how I come to realize how sexy a name it is! I love it! Sasha is a beautiful name.
