I wanted a short and not overcomplicated first name which wasn’t too popular. Her first name was simply one I’ve always loved and I liked that it was easy to say and spell. We chose Maya for the exotic flare and dreamy meaning. I have a strong connection with nature and flowers especially so I wanted a floral name. I liked April and Flora but they didn’t fit in with Maya in my mind. What I really love about Rosalind as a middle name is its contrast against the short first name. I am also a massive fan of horses so I adore the meaning of this gorgeous name. Rosalind feels vintage but fresh and very classy and feminine. Rosalind is a great pick!
