At one point there were 4 teachers with the name Lisa. I don’t know if I am bias but typically Lisa’s are generally very nice and caring people with beauty features that are considered I pretty by society. ( At least the Lisa’s I know :). I have taught for 21 years and have never had a student named Lisa. It is definitely not the popular name like it was in the 60’s. Now however, the name is very rare with only a few of us left over from that era. So yes, I’m happy with my name although I wasn’t as I was growing up but I’ve grown into it and I love the fact that it’s now something of an anomaly to be called Lisa.
