Our first is Isaiah. We wanted something that was biblical and three syllables ending in the same vowel just like his brother. We also like that Eli can be a nickname if he chooses. Reply Naomi Apr 10 at 7:55 am We chose our babies name, because it was important to both my husband and I, to have a name that glorifies God. Elisha means God is my salvation. It took my husband and I over 5 years to conceive, and to honor this beautiful blessing, naming him Elisha felt so natural. No Heartbeat. The Lord had given me the name Theodore Elias for this child and I had complete faith The Lord Would heal the pregnancy. On February 14, 2021, we delivered our Theodore into the hands of God. He was our gift, Theodore, and the Lord was his God, Elias (variant of Elijah) and through this, with much prayer, weeping & grief, I am aware of the double portion of anointing that will be on our next child. We will give him the name Elisha, as he will follow after our Elijah. We witnessed him go….. God Be Praised in the valley, for the beauty of the mountain top. Victory Is Here!! Reply Maresha Jan 21 at 4:36 pm We went from elijah to Elisha because the Lord told me to and he was the profet with the double portion.
