  1. My sons first name is actually Mason. His middle name is Britt. So, Mason Britt. My husband and I picked out the name Mason during our first pregnancy. Sadly, I had 3 miscarriages before becoming pregnant again and finally having our rainbow baby. BUT, before finding out our first child was a girl, we were still wanting the name Mason for a boy. I had an obsession watching & keeping up with the Kardashians, which had a son named Mason. My husband had just lost his grandfather so we wanted to name him after him if we had a boy. It would’ve been Mason James. But, our first child was a girl. Fast forward 10 years & sadly another miscarriage later, we finally become pregnant again. I had been struggling hard with the sudden loss of my big sister, 9 months prior to becoming pregnant. I knew that this baby was not only a gift from God, but also my big sister. It was her way of showing me that she’s up there looking out for me still and wanted me to be happy again. She always hoped that I would one day be able to have another baby for her to love. I knew I had to honor her by naming her nephew after her. Even tho my child sadly will never get to meet his amazing Aunt, she will forever be with him. So, my son was named after his beautiful angel of an aunt, his Aunt BB, Brittney. Britt for short. <3
