Reply Anne Dec 28 at 9:25 pm My name is Anne and I have always hated my name. It isn’t a name that you can shorten. People think my name is Man when I say, ” I’m Anne.” Please don’t name your baby Anne. Haha Reply Anne Jun 24 at 7:05 pm So sad that you don’t like your name. It is a name that means grace and beautiful and there have been Queens, Princesses and a Saint given that name. It is different, in an elegant way without being off the wall . I have always loved my name, and have lived up to its meaning. Reply Anne Sep 10 at 9:55 am My name is Anne. I have never liked my name because it’s a plain name and I don’t feel it suits me. I wish I had legally changed my name when I was younger. Reply Cadence Nov 21 at 12:25 pm My middle name is Brianne, so my nicknames are Anne, Bree, and ani other spellin’ could be anti. Reply Brianne Nov 21 at 12:26 pm Did you mean Bree? Reply Drina Jan 18 at 9:58 am Anne is a simple and beautiful name. Anne with an “e” is distinguished ;-). And she’s named in honor of St Anne, mother of the Blessed Mother. Reply L Anne Pierce Dec 18 at 3:39 am My paternal grandmother’s name was Donna Alice, and my maternal grandmother’s name was Alice Elizabeth. They named my mother Suzanne. She and my father wanted to give me a name that reminded them of the “A” names of my grandmas, but not Alice. So my mom is Suzanne, and I’m “Lori Anne.” If I’d had a baby girl, I was going to name her Cheyenne. There’s lots you can do with the name Anne (Ann)!! Reply Emily Morgan Apr 14 at 7:52 am We chose the name Anne because my Grandma’s name is Anne, my mother’s name is Jennifer Anne, and my name is Emily Anne. Several of my cousins also have some variation of of the name Anne in their middle name. We thought it would be nice to honor my grandma (my child’s great-grandma) by using it as a first name. My grandparents played a large role in my life, and it was important to me to honor them. My grandma Anne is always so proud of her baby Anne. We paired Anne with the middle name Faith (Anne Faith), because my husband and I had a long journey of faith before we were blessed with our daughter. I feel like the names compliment each other well- one not overpowering the other. Reply Share your thoughts on the name Anne Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
