And it became so. I am Althea Knight. Uniquely Charming and Obese like a Greek goddess. Reply Althea Apr 25 at 10:05 pm I am Althea, my family call me Thea, my family describes me as a loving, and caring woman with a sense of humor. Reply Lauren Jun 8 at 9:43 am My husband and I saw the name randomly somewhere and instantly fell in love with it! As a Greatful Dead fan, my dad was thrilled!! ? Reply Tiffany Apr 23 at 5:07 am Our last name starts with “T” so we wanted our baby girls initials to spell “ART.” Since my husband and I love the Grateful Dead, we chose “Althea” as the “A” name after one of my favorite Grateful Dead songs. It was important to me that my baby’s name be unique (my husband and I do not have unique names and we’re constantly being referred to by a nickname). It was also important that her name resemble the strong, independent, kind woman that I will encourage her to become. The lyrics to this song are about that kind of woman.
